We observed 75 cases of severe anemia who were admitted to Department. Of Pediatrics of Maryknoll hospital from Jan. 1974 to Dec. 1976. The following results were obtained. 1) 925 cases(40.3%) of the total admitted patients(2,298 cases) had mild degree of anemia(below 10.5gm/dl) and 75 cases(3.3%) showed severe anemia (below 7.0gm/dl). 2) Male to female ratio was 1.5 to 1.... |
